Comply Sphere Advisory is a Dubai-based specialist sanctions advisory firm helping banks, fintechs, traders and cross-border businesses understand complex sanctions exposure and make better-informed decisions.
Comply Sphere Advisory was created to provide specialist sanctions support without unnecessary complexity. We focus on the areas where businesses most often need judgement: complex transactions, ownership structures, trade routes, payment chains, control frameworks and emerging geopolitical risk.
Our approach combines regulatory understanding with practical commercial experience. The objective is not simply to identify risk, but to help clients understand what the risk means, what options are available and what a defensible next step looks like.
Strong sanctions advice requires more than knowing the rules. It requires understanding how transactions move, how businesses operate and where risk actually enters the chain.
Experience built inside banks, fintechs, investigations and senior sanctions leadership roles — not solely from external consulting.
Practical understanding of how sanctions risk appears across GCC markets, international payments, trade, shipping and third-country relationships.
We turn complex facts into structured analysis that helps management, compliance teams and commercial stakeholders reach documented decisions.
The objective is proportionate risk management — helping clients understand when activity can proceed, when controls are needed and when risk is too high.
Founder, Comply Sphere Advisory
Sanctions & Financial Crime Specialist
Comply Sphere Advisory was founded by Mayur Jethwa, a senior sanctions and financial crime leader with more than 22 years of experience across international banking, fintech and UK law enforcement.
His career has included senior sanctions leadership roles across global and UAE financial institutions, with responsibility for sanctions advisory, governance, screening, risk assessment, investigations and regulatory engagement.
This background brings together strategic leadership with hands-on understanding of payments, correspondent banking, cross-border transactions, trade risk and the practical challenges faced by compliance and commercial teams.
We establish the commercial objective, transaction structure and specific sanctions concern that needs to be resolved.
We examine the relevant parties, jurisdictions, ownership, goods, routes, payments and sanctions regimes.
We explain the key risk drivers, possible mitigants and any information or controls needed before a decision is made.
We provide clear, practical analysis designed to support a proportionate and defensible commercial outcome.
If you are dealing with a complex transaction, ownership question, trade route or sanctions-control issue, we can help you understand the exposure and the options available.
